Mission Statement 

Shirzan Club, the Iranian-American Professional Women Association, of DMV aims to create a supportive membership-based network for Iranian-American women professionals. Our mission is to empower, facilitate growth through networking, mentoring, and career support for professional women. We assist members with making introductions, assisting in  navigating workplace challenges, encouraging work-life balance, and mentoring the next generation of women professionals in our community.

While several professional women’s organizations exist in our area, none specifically addresses the unique experiences and needs of Iranian-American professionals.
We need a supportive, inclusive space to connect, exchange ideas, and share best practices and champion the next generation of women leaders.
Empowering one another strengthens us all—when one of us rises, we all rise.
Though our career paths are unique, we often face similar challenges. By sharing our experiences, we foster connection, validation, and collective growth.

Shirzan Club is a grassroots, non-political,  non-religious, independent organization.
